Alexandra Schmidt<\/h2>\n

Nach einer zun\u00e4chst wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit dem improvisierten Tanz begann Alexandra Schmidt ihre Laufbahn als Kulturmanagerin und baute die Presse- und \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit des 2000 neu er\u00f6ffneten Choreographischen Zentrum NRW, heute PACT Zollverein auf. Von dort wechselte sie zum Teo Otto Theater Remscheid, wo sie neben ihrer T\u00e4tigkeit in der Presse- und \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit und im Marketing gemeinsam mit der Intendanz internationale Koproduktionen im zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz organisierte. Au\u00dferdem war sie an der Entwicklung des europ\u00e4ischen Festivals Temps d\u2019images beteiligt. In Kooperation mit Arte wird dieses Festival j\u00e4hrlich mit verschiedenen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern durchgef\u00fchrt. Von 2007 bis 2011 leitete sie das NRW Landesb\u00fcro Freie Kultur in Dortmund und war Mitglied im gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrenden Vorstand des Bundesverband Freie Theater sowie im Rat f\u00fcr Darstellende K\u00fcnste im Deutschen Kulturrat. 2006 gr\u00fcndete sie die Agentur tanzmanagement.net. Sie ber\u00e4t ihre Kunden in den Bereichen Produktion und Finanzierung von Tanz- und Performanceprojekten und entwickelt Konzepte f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit sowie Konzepte f\u00fcr Austausch und Kooperation f\u00fcr nationale und internationale Compagnien und Choreographen. 2010 gr\u00fcndete sie das tanz.tausch festival in K\u00f6ln gemeinsam mit Mechtild Tellmann. 2018 ist sie Dozentin an der Folkwang Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste. Sie ist eine von vier Sprechern der Freien Szene D\u00fcsseldorf sowie NRW Korrespondentin des Dachverband Tanz Deutschland.<\/o:p><\/p>\n
